Advancing software-defined vehicles: linking Android Automotive and AUTOSAR with LAVA
Can’t attend live? Register anyway, and we’ll send you a link to the slides and a video of the webinar when it’s finished.
In the second part of this webinar series, Dr. Dusan Kenjic of RT-RK presents the LAVA solution, a software-generating tool that enables communication between AUTOSAR-based ECUs and Android infotainment systems by leveraging Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) for data exchange.
The expert will explain how the solution takes ARXML models as inputs and generates AIDL-based APIs typical for Android environment and development procedures. He will also discuss how the tool generates source code, build environment and tests to speed up the integration process and enable seamless connection.
Key topics and takeaways:
- Gain insight into how Android developers can drive innovation in the software-defined vehicle era
- Learn how to enable the exchange of vehicle data between Classic/Adaptive AUTOSAR-based ECUs and Android infotainment systems
- Discover how to integrate Android within the overall vehicle SOA and overcome Signal-to-Service challenges
- Find out how to automate communication by leveraging model-driven development
